Inclusive Quality & Curriculum Lead
Location: 4 days a week from home and 1 working onsite in Shoreham-by-Sea
Salary: From £37,000 + quarterly tax-free bonus

This role sits within a well-established national apprenticeship provider with around 600 colleagues and nearly three decades of sector experience. Role Purpose
You will lead the organisation’s inclusive learning strategy, ensuring apprentices, particularly those with SEND or facing barriers – receive accessible, equitable, and high-impact training. Working across curriculum, quality, delivery, and employer networks, you will help shape an inclusive learning environment that improves progression, achievement, and long-term outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on inclusive learning and curriculum strategy, aligned to Ofsted and ESFA expectations
- Evaluate and coach staff to embed inclusive teaching and effective support practice
- Work with curriculum teams to ensure accessibility is designed into all programmes
- Oversee reasonable adjustments, support planning, Access to Work processes, and inclusion reporting
- Deliver training and resources that strengthen inclusive practice organisation-wide
- Monitor inclusion KPIs and EDIMs, reporting on impact and learner outcomes
- Provide guidance on employer responsibilities under the Equality Act
- Support high-needs funding processes (ILR/EAS)
- Line-manage a small team (SEND Coordinator + 2 Coordinators)
What You’ll Bring
- Level 5+ teaching qualification (DTLLS, CertEd, PGCE or equivalent)
- Experience in SEND strategy, curriculum design, and quality improvement
- Strong knowledge of ESFA funding requirements and ILR compliance
- Background supporting post-16 learners and/or apprentices
- Understanding of awarding-body requirements and equality legislation
- Willingness to travel for observation and employer visits
