FIND was Co-Founded by three friends & recruiters (Jack, James & Ryan) who had spent a combined 25 years in corporate agency and wanted to create something different.

Remaining in the same sector that we’d always served – Training & Education – we set out to create a staffing business that places equal emphasis on both fulfilment & customer experience.

Our Goal? To help Learning Providers grow & thrive by connecting them with the talent they need – while helping improve the perception of staffing agencies along the way.

We’re proud to now support well over 100 learning organisations across the UK, from global names to specialist niche providers, helping them recruit permanent staff across Delivery, Sales, Operations & Leadership positions.

Jack English

Co-Founder, Director of Senior & Executive Appointments

My recruitment career started in 2010, working for a global corporate agency. I loved it! I spent 12 years there – progressing into a role where I was running a business inside the PLC & responsible for all Senior hiring into the Training, Skills & Apprenticeship markets.

I had worked with both James & Ryan for a long time and during 2021 launching our own agency turned from a dream into reality!

I’m responsible for all Senior, Leadership & Executive hiring across our sectors – I have a particular interest in OMB’s, Start-up/Scale-up and PE organisations. I provide Perm & Interim Recruitment, Talent Mapping & Pipelining solutions.
I am obsessed with creating an enjoyable (and simple!) process for Clients & Candidates. I’m super passionate about customer experience – I’m on a personal mission to change the perception of staffing businesses.

Outside of work, I love running, eating & drinking, live music, and travel. I live near a Beach and my Partner & I have challenged ourselves to go sea swimming every week… think Wim Hof (we’re cheating a bit and wearing wetsuits though, at least for Jan – March!)

Ryan Hammond

Co-Founder, Director of Technology & IT Training

I joined the recruitment world in early 2016. Ironically, my first interview experience within the sector was being rejected by Jack – my now Co-Founder – for a role within his team. Luckily, he saw some sense on the 3rd attempt…

Since then, I have spent my entire recruitment career helping businesses build their technology training teams.

I have worked with the vast majority of UK leading technology training providers during this time, as well as supporting so many amazing start-ups.

Here at Find, we collectively agree on what recruitment should look like – a simple, enjoyable & effective partnership that improves your business.

I am responsible for connecting companies with the best trainers in the market within the following areas: Data Science & AI, Software Engineering, DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Project Management & Business Analysis.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling & exploring new places, attending music festivals/events & am a big football fan. I also like to consider myself a bit of a craft beer & ale connoisseur & I hope to open up my own brewery one day.

Anton Roe

Advisor to the Board

Anton has 22 years’ experience in the recruitment sector at senior leadership and board level across Technology, Training and Professional Services in the UK, the Americas and Australia.

He’s been involved in scaling established staffing businesses and launching multiple start-ups.

Anton acts as an advisor to the board of FIND.

Jordan Whiteley

Principal Consultant, eLearning & Learning Technologies

I started my recruitment career in 2018 working for a large corporate agency, and for 3 of those years, I was under the stewardship of both Jack and Ryan. 

I specialise in finding talent in the EdTech & Learning Technologies markets. Over my career, I’ve recruited for corporate organisations, Training Providers and eLearning & EdTech businesses – placing SME’s, ID’s and Technologists.  

I’m super excited to join the squad at FIND, heading our EdTech & Learning Technologies division. 

Outside of recruitment, I’m an avid sportsman where you’ll find me shanking some balls out the rough on the golf course, lugging my somewhat excessive bodyweight round the football pitch, or down the pub “7 balling” anyone that’s brave enough to play me at pool. I also love to travel, going to events/festivals, and I’m a bit of a dab-hand in the kitchen (mainly eating).

Aishah Wicken

Principal Consultant, Apprenticeships & Employability

Joining the sector fresh faced from College, I started my recruitment career back in 2016, working for a large PLC where I was lucky enough to meet Jack, Ryan & James. During my 6 years in the industry, I progressed into a Lead Role responsible for delivery hires within the Skills & Apprenticeship market.

Here at FIND, I head-up our Apprenticeships & Employability division, leading all recruitment for delivery roles. 

I’m super excited to be back working with friends & look forward to supporting my clients to find great talent, whilst enjoying the process!

Away from the office, I love travelling, going to gigs/events & eating out, like most of the team at FIND, I’m a massive foodie too!

Leoni Stevens

Talent Partner, Apprenticeships & Employability

I started my recruitment career working for a large corporate agency where I built up 16 years recruitment experience, specialising within the Skills, Learning, Apprenticeship & Employability sectors.

Over my career, I’ve had the honour of supporting a wide range of training providers to build successful teams. My main experience is recruiting for Coaches, Mentors, Trainers, Sales & Account Management roles.

I previously worked with Jack, Ryan & James for about 10 years and following a short hiatus I am delighted to be working with this great team again as I join them as a Talent Partner.

Outside of work I like experimenting in the kitchen with new dishes or baking sweet treats. I also enjoy eating out, going for walks in the stunning Inverness countryside and enjoying a lazy evening in front of a good Netflix series!

Charley Loughrey

Senior Talent Partner

I started my recruitment career in 2015 & I’ve spent my time recruiting across Systems, Software & Supportability Engineers into some of the UK’s most reputable Defence companies

At FIND, I’ll be focussing on sourcing the best IT Training talent for leading training providers in the UK & East Coast US. My role will be to ensure that the candidate has the best possible recruitment journey whilst searching for their next job.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going out for food & drinks and travelling.

Jamie Harding

Head of Professional Services

My career in recruitment started in 2000 when I was just a few years out of University and I had no idea what to do with my life- after all, what do you do with a degree in History and student loan debts! After working as a manager for the John Lewis Partnership for two years, I saw an advert in the local newspaper (yes, jobs were advertised like that in those days) for a recruitment role earning the heavenly sum of £16k!!! I applied, and the rest they say is history!

All these years later, I still love the challenge and the thrill of finding great candidates their dream role, whilst delivering a high level of service to individuals and companies alike! Having worked with half of the FIND team previously, when the chance to join and set up the Professional Services division came up, I just had to do it!!

Outside of work, I love eating out, cooking, going on long walks, the odd bike ride, spending time with the family….all whilst being a long suffering supporter of Southampton FC.

Louise Ness

Principal Consultant, Apprenticeships & Employability

I started my career in recruitment in 2015 and since then, I dedicated 7 of those years to sourcing talent within Education, Training & Apprenticeship sector. I had a brief 2-year stint working in Talent Acquisition as well – working internally for a business.

I am a Principal Consultant here at FIND and specialise in placing the best talent into the Apprenticeships, Employability & Education sectors.

Outside of work I cherish time with my children and social gatherings with friends over dinner. I try to embrace fitness where I can for a healthy lifestyle while getting stuck into a thought-provoking podcast.

I started my career aged 16 as a sales apprentice, working for a private training provider and spent 5 years working my way up to a senior recruitment consultant, responsible for matching aspiring apprentices with organisations to kick start their careers.

Having completed 3 apprenticeships myself, I am a huge advocate for work-based learning and feel proud to have dedicated my whole career to a sector I feel so passionately about. I’ve spent the past 5 years supporting both ITP’s & FE colleges to grow their workforces by successful, mutually beneficial long-term placements.

Born and raised in Suffolk, I’ve recently moved to Essex and work remotely with unwavering moral support and encouragement from my two cats.
Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with friends or on uncle duties keeping my niece and nephew entertained!

I began my recruitment career in March 2020, just as the country entered lockdown. Starting remotely in a completely new industry was a challenge, but I drew on my background in customer service and account management to quickly build strong, lasting relationships with both candidates and clients.

FIND’s values and culture resonated with me from the outset. They reflect exactly how I believe recruitment should be done: with integrity, purpose, and people at the centre.

Today, I focus on placing top-tier talent within the education sector. I work closely with Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) and Schools to deliver exceptional Education Support professionals through exclusive, partnership-led recruitment.

Outside of work, I’m a passionate sports fan. Most weekends you’ll find me playing football on Saturdays and watching both football & NFL on Sundays. I also love to travel when I can, especially to anywhere sunny!

Having always recruited within the Trades & Engineering sectors since 2020, I saw first-hand the skills gaps that exists within these markets, and wanted to be part of helping address that.

I specialise in placing Technical, Trades and Engineering Trainers, Lecturers and Assessors into Independent Training Providers and FE Colles.

Outside of work, I’m into running, reading and generally keeping busy with good food, live music and the gym

If you want an office, we’re in Elan House – Fareham. Work from home (or Portugal!) if you prefer

COMMISSION

We’re a perm business. You’ll get between 25%-35% of your fees with a small (fair!) threshold
