We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist training provider who deliver technical training across the MOD. They are seeking a Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice Coach to support and guide apprentices through their Level 2 and 3 programmes.

This is not a classroom teaching role – instead, you will be working across MOD sites, coaching and mentoring apprentices in a practical setting, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their careers.
Key Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor apprentices working towards Level 2 and 3 Vehicle Mechanic standards.
• Deliver high-quality skills coaching in workplace settings.
• Support apprentices with their progression, providing guidance and feedback.
• Travel to MOD sites to provide on-the-job support and assessment.
• Maintain records in line with apprenticeship requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Background as a Vehicle Mechanic (military or civilian).
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Willingness to work across MOD sites (travel required).
• No previous teaching qualification required – full training provided.

Benefits

• Starting salary of £36,277, rising to £38,787 once you complete the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (funded by the provider).
