Or are you already an Electrical Trainer, Tutor or Lecturer looking for a role focused on delivering technical short courses?
I’m recruiting for a training provider looking for an Electrical Instructor to join their team, delivering practical and classroom-based training to apprentices and existing engineers.
The Role
You’ll deliver a range of electrical short courses, including:
- 18th Edition / BS 7671
- Inspection & Testing / 2391
- Basic Electrical Maintenance
- PAT Testing
- Safe Isolation
- Health & Safety
- Other electrical and engineering short courses depending on your experience
The role will involve working across a small number of the provider’s training sites within the region.
If you’ve got strong electrical experience but no teaching qualification, the company will fully fund and support you through your teaching qualification, with your salary increasing once qualified.
Working Hours & Package:
- £39,000 starting salary
- Rising to £41,000 once teaching qualified
- Teaching qualification fully funded
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 27 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
- Company bonus scheme
- No shifts, nights or weekends
- Ongoing training and development
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on electrical industry experience
- Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent
- Good knowledge of electrical installation and/or maintenance
- Experience with areas such as 18th Edition, inspection & testing, safe isolation or electrical maintenance
- Confidence communicating your knowledge to others
