SEND Primary Teacher Location: West Yorkshire
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
 
The Role
Our client is looking for a passionate SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with complex needs and behaviours that can challenge.

You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning across KS1 and KS2, creating a safe and nurturing classroom where pupils can build confidence and make meaningful progress. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, teach and assess learning across KS1 and KS2.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual SEND needs and abilities.
• Support positive behaviour and create a safe learning environment.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
• Contribute to pupil reports, progress tracking and curriculum development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals.

Requirements

• QTS or QTLS is essential.
• Experience teaching at KS1 and/or KS2 level.
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional and complex needs.
• A patient, adaptable and nurturing teaching approach.
