A leading education Trust is seeking an experienced HR Officer, with previous education setting experience, to join their thriving team.  Reporting to the Trust HR Manager, this is an exciting role that would see the successful candidate working with key stakeholders across a number of schools, offering full HR support. 

This role is 36 hours per week, all year round.  Whilst predominantly based in the Trust offices near Purley, Surrey, there is some scope for home working

Salary range for this role is £34k- £36K.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing employee ER cases.
  • Updating policies and procedures.
  • Onboarding and training oversight.
  • Recruitment sourcing and advertising.
  • Managing HR Paperwork.
  • Ensuring all procedures relating to probation, appraisal etc, are adhered to.
  • Supporting staff with all personnel issues.

The ideal candidate:

  • has previous HR officer experience.
  • will have worked in an education setting previously.
  • holds a CIPD qualification, is working towards, or willing to.
  • possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • can establish excellent working relationships at all levels.
