FIND is working with an education establishment in East Sussex to support their search for a Finance and Operations Manager.  This is an opportunity for an experienced education finance professional to join a successful team.

This role is based on site 4 days a week, and the ideal candidate is a current school Bursar, School Business Manager or equivalent- School/ Education experience is essential.

Duties for this role include- 

• Oversight of the school finance function- including contributing to financial decision making
• Line management of the finance team 
• Management Accounts, Budgeting and Forecasting
• Budget analysis and financial reporting
• Internal and external audit oversight
• Payroll management 
• Income and expenditure

The ideal candidate- 

• is a current School Business Manager
• is a Part Qualified Accountant or working towards it- CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• strong understanding of how school funding works
• is happy to work 4 days a week onsite.
