Our client is a leader in the education sector, and they are seeking an experience HR Advisor to join their team to support a number of different parts of the business, offering advice and guidance to managers on complex employee relations matters.

This role is a hybrid position with two days a week in the Manchester office.

Salary- £34k 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver bespoke HR services, including supporting the implementation of people plans and HR strategy.
  • HR project worked as required. 
  • Develop and utilize HR metrics, monitor trends, and propose interventions to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Support organizational development activities. 
  • Support and guide HR Advisors to maximize their potential.
  • Advise managers on complex employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, and rewards.
  • Support business change projects, including restructuring, redeployment, redundancy, and TUPE.
  • Build effective relationships with managers at all levels, providing timely and professional HR solutions.
  • Coach and develop line managers through one-on-one or group training sessions on key management practices.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports as required.
  • Actively contribute to the development and knowledge base of the HR team.
  • Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role, as required.

  
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

  • CIPD Level 5 Qualified (Chartered/Graduate membership).
  • Degree level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and administrative abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility and maintain positive relationships.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • At least three years of recent, broad HR generalist experience at an advisory level.
  • Experience in designing and leading organizational development or business change projects.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
