Our client is a leader in the education sector, and they are seeking an experience HR Advisor to join their team to support a number of different parts of the business, offering advice and guidance to managers on complex employee relations matters.
This role is a hybrid position with two days a week in the Manchester office.
Salary- £34k
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke HR services, including supporting the implementation of people plans and HR strategy.
- HR project worked as required.
- Develop and utilize HR metrics, monitor trends, and propose interventions to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Support organizational development activities.
- Support and guide HR Advisors to maximize their potential.
- Advise managers on complex employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, and rewards.
- Support business change projects, including restructuring, redeployment, redundancy, and TUPE.
- Build effective relationships with managers at all levels, providing timely and professional HR solutions.
- Coach and develop line managers through one-on-one or group training sessions on key management practices.
- Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports as required.
- Actively contribute to the development and knowledge base of the HR team.
- Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role, as required.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
- CIPD Level 5 Qualified (Chartered/Graduate membership).
- Degree level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and administrative abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility and maintain positive relationships.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- At least three years of recent, broad HR generalist experience at an advisory level.
- Experience in designing and leading organizational development or business change projects.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
