The Role
We’re recruiting for multiple Careers Advisors to join the Sheffield delivery team. You’ll provide high-quality careers information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to adults across a centre is Sheffield.
You’ll use your knowledge of local labour market trends to help individuals understand their options, make informed career decisions, and progress into learning or work. This is a varied, rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Delivering both group sessions and 1:1 guidance to adults, covering topics such as employability, upskilling, and education pathways.
- Promoting the service to local partners and organisations to increase referrals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders including Jobcentre Plus, training providers, colleges, and community organisations.
- Supporting contract performance targets by helping individuals achieve positive learning and job outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with DfE, Ofsted, and Matrix quality standards.
- Using labour market information to inform delivery and inspire customers.
Salary- £26,000-28,000 + additional benefits
