Communications Executive – Global Automotive Brand
 
Location: Reading (2 days per week onsite)
Salary: £30,000 + benefits
Contract: 6-month FTC (possibility of extension/permanent)
 
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Communications Executive to join a leading global automotive brand’s Training Academy. This is a newly shaped role where you’ll play a key part in how the organisation communicates with its nationwide retailer network and thousands of learners across its training and apprenticeship programmes.
If you’re a strong communicator with experience creating content across multiple channels and you’re looking to step up into a fast-paced, high-profile environment this is an excellent next move.
 
The Role
As Communications Executive, you will:

• Develop and deliver engaging internal communications across email, intranet, newsletters, blogs, and digital channels.
• Help structure and improve how the organisation communicates with its national retailer network and learner community.
• Create messaging, content, updates, and templates in line with brand guidelines.
• Work closely with teams across L&D, operations, and senior stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent communication.
• Use the organisation’s CRM/communications platform (training provided) to manage outbound comms.
• Support content planning, communications scheduling, and measuring engagement and impact.

 
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

• A doer — proactive, hands-on, and confident owning communications delivery.
• Experienced in a communications role (e.g., internal comms, marketing comms, content, PR, or L&D communications).
• A strong writer with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders at different levels.
• Looking for a step up into a larger, global brand environment.
• Able to commute to Wokefield Park twice per week (driving required).

Experience in the automotive industry is not required.
