The Careers & Recruitment Manager will lead and develop a team of five Recruiters within a Hire, Train, Deploy (HTD) model, focused exclusively on deploying technology talent into consultancy roles. This role plays a critical part in ensuring we are vetting, assessing and deploying the right graduates and career returners to meet client demand.
  
Working closely with both the Sales team and client stakeholders, you’ll represent the Careers/Talent function externally, build robust talent pipelines, and ensure delivery quality across the full recruitment lifecycle.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management, client engagement and talent strategy in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and manage a team of 5 Recruiters, setting clear performance expectations and supporting their development.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality assessment, selection and deployment of candidates across all programmes.

Hire, Train, Deploy Delivery

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for graduates and career returners entering technology consultancy roles.
  • Ensure candidates are effectively vetted, assessed and matched to client requirements before deployment.
  • Maintain high standards of candidate quality, readiness and client fit.

Client & Sales Partnership

  • Represent the Careers/Recruitment function with clients, acting as a trusted partner on talent capability and supply.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to understand current and future client demand.
  • Support talent pipelining and workforce planning aligned to commercial opportunities.

Talent Pipelines & Market Insight

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of technology talent across relevant skillsets.
  • Use market insight and data to anticipate demand and inform recruitment strategy.
  • Continuously refine assessment frameworks to meet evolving client needs.

Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

  • Ensure a positive, transparent and professional experience for all candidates.
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation’s mission, values and proposition within the tech talent market.

Data & Reporting

  • Track recruitment performance, deployment outcomes and pipeline health.
  • Provide clear reporting and insight to senior stakeholders across Talent and Sales.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing recruitment or careers teams.
  • Essential: background in technology recruitment or technology careers (agency or HTD environment).
  • Strong understanding of technology roles, skills and consultancy delivery models.
  • Experience working closely with Sales or commercial teams.
  • Confident engaging with clients and representing talent capability externally.
  • Highly organised, data-aware and comfortable operating in a delivery-led environment.
  • Passion for developing early-career talent and supporting career returners into tech.

  • London-based
